My second solo M2 level, this one is based on the raid of a heavily-guarded Pfhor Ammo Dump. It is far superior to my last solo, Aqua Tower. This one has almost 200 polygons, several lighting types, and a storyline. More info is contained in the first terminal you meet, but you might want to read below for info on why you're not somewhere outside the siral arms of the Milky Way looking for some godforsaken planet with aincent Jjaro technology.
I will now be starting work on my next solo map, which will center around the infiltration of a Pfhor detention center. This map and others that I make will form a loose-knit scenario called The Valhalla Chronicles. Setting the scene
It is 75 years after the incident at Tau Ceti, and Humanity, aided by the S'pht, is at war with the Pfhor. The going has not been easy, but the Humans are slowly winning. The humans have built their first self-sufficent starbase, Valhalla. Named after the legendary Norse city where dead warriors were honored forever by their god Odin, it dwarfs even the Marathon in size. It is run by a single AI by the name of Seigfried. In a disputed zone between the human territories and the Pfhor Empire, it is constantly on the forefront of the war.
In this series of Marathon levels, you play a clone of the marine who saved the Marathon and freed the S'pht from bondage at Lh'own. You were created from DNA samples brought by Robert Blake when he and his crew returned from their voyage. As a clone of that marine, it is your birthright to battle the Pfhor and keep them form defeating humanity and ruling the galaxy!
